Out-of-hours flood-water extraction for Honeywell in Airdrie

By Danny Murray ·

Honeywell contacted us after heavy rainfall caused flooding inside its Airdrie warehouse. We attended out of hours to help remove water from the concrete floor.

The commercial call-out

Standing water extended along the warehouse floor and required prompt removal. The visit was arranged outside normal hours to respond to the incident and support the client while disruption was managed.

Truck-mounted water extraction

Our high-powered truck-mounted machine was used to extract water from the concrete floor. Long vacuum hoses allowed the main equipment to remain in the van while water was recovered from inside the warehouse.

The scope of the work

This case study covers emergency water extraction from the warehouse floor. It does not claim structural drying, mould remediation or insurance loss-adjusting services. Further specialist assessment may be required after any building flood.
