Prepare for your appointment

Before the appointment

• Vacuum loose debris where practical, unless told otherwise.
• Move small, fragile and valuable items from the cleaning area.
• Tell us what you would like moved; do not attempt heavy lifting that is unsafe for you.
• Arrange a safe space for children and pets away from equipment, hoses and damp surfaces.
• Let us know if someone will be working from home so we can discuss machinery noise.
• Keep parking and access as clear as reasonably possible.
• Tell us what has been spilled, what stain products have been tried and whether the item has been professionally cleaned before.

Help with drying

Safe airflow and warmth can make a substantial difference. Where possible, allow suitable ventilation and keep the area accessible for Dri-Pods or air movers. Drying time depends on fibre type, airflow, soiling and the method used.

How your property is protected

As appropriate, we use entrance work mats, corner guards for hoses, shoe covers, furniture glides to reduce dragging and leg stress, and furniture tabs to reduce the risk of varnish, dye or rust transferring onto damp carpet.
