A process chosen for the carpet in front of us
There is no single cleaning method that suits every carpet. Fibre type, backing, construction, previous products, soil level, access and airflow are checked before the working method is confirmed. Depending on those findings, cleaning may use truck-mounted hot-water extraction, portable extraction or a suitable low-moisture process.
Pre-clean testing also helps separate removable soiling from wear, permanent colour loss or fibre damage. We explain any limitation we can see before cleaning rather than promising that every mark will disappear.
What happens at the appointment
After the initial inspection, dry soil is removed before the carpet is pre-treated and agitated where appropriate. The carpet is then rinsed or cleaned using the selected method, followed by detailed spot work, pile setting and drying measures suited to the room.
We agree access and working space in advance, including anything relevant to children, pets, ventilation or noise. Protection may include corner guards, clean footwear, floor coverings and tabs beneath suitable furniture.
Drying and aftercare
